LED lighting in Traditional Church Building

St Peter and St Paul’s in Horndon on the Hill wanted the lighting within this beautiful church building improved.

Challenge:

To create ambient and sympathetic lighting to display the magnificent vaulted ceiling. The existing lights were expensive to run and became very hot, creating an increased risk of fire, as they were positioned on the old timbers of the vaulted ceiling.

Approach:

We advised that bright LED floodlights would display the ceiling to the greatest advantage, as well as reduce running costs and the risk of fire. LED lights emit very little heat. The existing lights were replaced and others were added to give better coverage of all areas.
